Derin Bray is an American furniture and decorative arts specialist at a major New England auction house. He has worked as a researcher and consultant for the Winterthur Museum in Delaware and The Litchfield Historical Society in Connecticut. Bray is a contributing author to Harbor & Home: The Furniture of Southeastern Massachusetts, 1710-1850 (2009) and co-author of To Please Any Taste: The Furniture and Furniture Makers of Litchfield County, 1770-1830 (2008). He holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Yale and a Master's Degree from the Winterthur Program in Early American Culture at the University of Delaware. Bray actively writes and lectures on topics of early American material life.
